Miss Lachelle - Owner/Instructor
Lachelle has been teaching with Doni's School of Dance since 1998. In 2006, she competed in a professional ballroom competition for "World Promotions" at the 13th annual Ballroom Blitz in Las Vegas. She performed as a professional hip hop dancer for Panama Jacks in Collinsville Illinois. She is currently certified in Zumba fitness. Her greatest joy comes from teaching dance - especially to kids.
Miss Leslie - Instructor
Leslie is our veteran dance instructor. She has been teaching with Doni's School of Dance for over 20 years. Her area of expertise is early childhood education and her favorite place to be is teaching dance to preschool age children. She is also currently serving as the president of the children's organization at her church.
Miss Alyssa - Instructor
Alyssa has been a dance instructor with Doni's School of Dance since 2010. She has 20 years experience teaching children ages 18 months to 15 years. The bulk of her experience has been directing children and youth programs at the church. She also has a background in musical theater, ballroom and modern dance. She has enjoyed singing and dancing in many show choirs and musical theater productions throughout her life. Teaching dance is her second favorite job, next to raising her children.
Miss Tara - Instructor
This is Tara's first year with Doni's School of Dance. She has been working with children for over 10 years. Because of her love for dance, she has found a way to implement dance activities int the curriculum of each of the schools and day care centers where she has taught. She was a member og the dance team at Fort Zumwalt South High School, and she has performed as a hip hop dancer at various venues throughout the United States.
Miss Gina - Instructor
Gina has an extensive background in ballet. She studied with the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Dance/Choreography. She has performed with a few local companies such as City Dance Ensemble and Tony Powell Music and Movement. She has taught at Joy of Motion Dance in Washington D.C. and when she not teaching and choreographing our dances, she is teaching fitness at the YMCA.
Miss Jessica - Instructor
Jessica currently teaches for Doni's School of Dance and dances for St. Peters Academy of Dance. She does hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap and also participates in competition dance. Her love of dance really shines through to her students.
